This incredible project that I stumbled upon the other day is the MD Town house in Holmen, a water-bound neighborhood in Copenhagen. The architect behind this stunning project is Danielle Siggerud, a Norwegian young architect with talent and incredible sensitivity. What really impressed me was that great balance between the old elements of the house, that were chosen to be preserved, and the clean, abstract designing approach.
An earthy limited color palette, the old wooden beams in contradiction to the thoughtfully chosen marble and all the carefully detailed solutions to this renovation, created an elegant, sensual space with respect to its roots and to its new purpose. It has a sophisticated atmosphere that it’s easy to recognize and adore! I feel completely enchanted by this place, don’t you feel the same?
